As Long as I’m Walking
Francis Alÿs

Francis Alÿs's video works over the last thirty years coalesce into a central concept in his solo exhibition at the Musée cantonale des Beaux-Arts Lausanne. His actions not only tell stories, but also probe our intertwined social fabric. He pulls, pushes or carries objects, maps, and explores his environment. This process has resulted in actions or long-term projects such as Children's Games, since 1999; Afghanistan Project, 2010-2014; As Long as I'm Walking: The Collector, 1990-1992 among others.

Tweaklab was commissioned with the media technical planning and installation of the video installations, as well as with the digital processing of the videos.

Location: Musée cantonale des Beaux-Arts Lausanne
Curator: Nicole Schweizer in collaboration with Elisabeth Jobin, research assistant

Duration of the exhibition: 15.10.2021-16.1.2022
