Inspired by rituals such as dances, processions and games, Emily Jacir shows in the film installation "We ate the Wind" how space, collectivity and memory can be appropriated anew. Two film projections on the front and back of a floating projection wall in the room, follow two different narrative strands. The sound level connects both film levels.
Tweaklab was commissioned with media planning and installation.
