The new focus exhibition, "The Pineapple on Lake Zurich", in the Sukkulenten Collection, introduces visitors to twelve useful succulent plants through a tour of the greenhouses and the rock garden.

At two touchscreen stations in the Africa and South America Houses , both outfitted with Tweaklab’s custom audio handsets, visitors can listen to various audio clips about useful succulent plants, such as dragon fruit, vanilla, or aloe vera. The audio is available in German and English and is accessed via the Succulent Collection website. At two additional media stations, visitors can scan the QR codes next to the plants using a barcode reader. In this way, in-depth information on the useful properties of the respective plant is displayed on the adjacent screen that is especially suited for heat and sunlight. To protect the screen from dust and sun, a flap was installed to cover the screen when not in use. The system runs on a "Raspberry Pi3", which is installed in a case with a fan.

Tweaklab was responsible for the media planning and the installation of the media stations and acted as a consultant for the housing implementation. In particular, heat tolerance and sufficient ventilation were relevant in the choice of equipment and during installation. Tweaklab also carried out the recording and production of the audio contributions.
