500 Jahre Pratteln – ein Dorf im Wandel

The first temporary exhibition is dedicated to the anniversary "500 Jahre Pratteln eidgenössisch". 
In 1521, the Lords of Eptingen sold the castle and three quarters of the village of Pratteln to the city of Basel, which joined the Swiss Confederation in 1501. The exhibition vividly portrays the village throughout its transformation.
People from Pratteln can be discovered on the Prattler Wimmelbild, a media station with a touch screen for selecting images for projection. Two audio stations on the subject of work and sovereignty react to visitors who sit down on a chair. The audio files are played randomly and fade out again when the visitor leaves the seat. A school desk also serves as a media station on the subject of education, and existing video installations have been supplemented with handheld receivers.
Tweaklab was commissioned with the entire media technology planning and implementation, as well as installation.
