Glass Showcase for dugout canoe

In 2011 the oldest boat in Switzerland was found in Moosseedorf. It is a dugout canoe, older than the Cheops pyramid. After many years of restoration, the dugout has now returned to its site of the find in a special showcase.
The showcase is a custom-made product, designed to preserve the dugout. What is extremely important is the constant climate control.

Tweaklab was commissioned with the media technical planning and realization of the showcase. This also includes the installation and programming of the media technology with remote access and smoke gas warning system. If the measured values in the display cabinet change, the community and the Archaeological Service are automatically alerted and can intervene. The showcase is considered a "pioneer", because its concept is unlike any other in Europe.
