Animalistic!
Pharmaziemuseum Universität Basel

Four museums in Basel illuminate the topic "animalistic" in their own way. The Pharmaziemuseum, for example, examines the active ingredients that are extracted from an animal and then utilized in the exhibition "Animalistic! Snake, cod liver oil and cortisone - from animals to active pharmaceutical ingredients".

On eight touchscreens in the two exhibition rooms, pre-modern and modern times are closely scrutinized. Active ingredients from bees or marmots are explained on the touchscreens, and insulin, cortisone and other modern preparations are also featured.

Tweaklab was commissioned with the installation of the touchscreens, as well as with the programming.
