For the very first time the history of Basel is illustrated at the large special exhibition HERE & THERE. An Exhibition about Basel in the 20th Century. The show - consisting of more than 300 exhibits and hundreds of historical photographs, films, audio documents - tells the story of an eventful century. Many objects from contemporary witnesses, people who lived at that time and important collections of this particular region are on loan to the exhibition, provided by the Historisches Museum Basel, the Museum.BL und the Staatsarchiv Basel-Stadt amongst others.
Tweaklab edited historical films, stabilized them and encoded them for 10"-LCD monitors. They made adaptions to the frame rates of the analogue film formats, always paying scrupulous attention to not altering the original material. The monitors were fitted into custom-made frames, some of them equipped with Tweaklab single cup headphones. Additional Tweaklab handheld headphones were put in place as individual listening stations.
In addition to providing consulting services, Tweaklab was in charge of planning and implementing the media technical installations, including single cup headphones and video stations.
