Le tremblement des certitudes
Silvie Defraoui

Silvie Defraoui, a pioneer of early video art and a central figure in the Swiss art landscape, challenges viewers to understand the present as changeable and impermanent and as a condition of human existence. Various video works can be seen in the "projection room": rose petals are blown away by a breath of air, circular projections show words and pictures, in the centre pictures line up in a crystal ball, unfinished sentences projected on crumpled paper herald pointless stories whose continuation is left to the imagination of each individual.

Tweaklab was responsible for the planning and installation of the video works in the projection room.
