The exhibition "Olten – naturally diverse" shows in an impressive way the diversity of nature in the Olten region. Almost 300 fossils, specimens and objects tell of past times and today’s biodiversity.
Nine media stations make it possible to experience the natural correlations by means of audio productions, short films, animations and slide shows. A researcher, for example, explains the way photosynthesis works and the current issues involved.
Three interactive stations allow visitors to become active themselves: Teeth, bones or horns must be identified and assigned to the right animals, and at one station a self-designed postcard can be printed out to take away. The planning and implementation of these stations was carried out by Tweaklab.
The exhibition also features various listening stations with Tweaklab handsets and buttons, where various reports on wild animals in the region such as the wolf and the Gäu bear can be heard.
Tweaklab was responsible for the media planning, programming and installation of the media technology for the exhibition.
New permanent exhibition as of 23.11.2019
