Geträumte Stadt
Museum Kleines Klingental

Using models and plans, the exhibition "Geträumte Stadt (Dream City)" presents little-known, unrealized planning projects from the 20th century for the city of Basel, and places them into their current context.

In the exhibition, four 10" screens embedded into tables show videos of these various projects, such as the planned northern detour of the Rhine from 1932.
Two 21.5" screens present an urban planning study by Herzog & de Meuron in collaboration with Rémy Zaugg from 1991-1992. The slideshow can be controlled in a Corona-compliant manner by foot switch.
Another CRT monitor juxtaposes a film about the possibilities of area developments like Klybeck and Basel Nord today with the film "Generalplan Basel" by Markus Kutter from 1960.
Tweaklab handled the media planning and installation of the media stations as well as the programming of the foot switches.
