Vogesenplatz Basel

The Habitat Foundation realizes the idea of a green pavilion as a shady island at Vogesenplatz. The wooden construction houses various climbing and creeping plants, such as hops and clematis. A sprinkler system and an audio installation are also part of the pavilion. At irregular intervals, an audio file featuring bird calls is triggered by motion detectors. This creates a joyful, animated mood around the tram station and extends across the surrounding plaza.

Tweaklab was commissioned with the media-technical planning and implementation of the audio installation.
