Stadtmuseum Aarau presents its first temporary exhibition with the title "Democracy! From the Guillotine to the Like-Button" in the galleries of the newly designed building extension.

Tweaklab was commissioned to develop and install the part of the exhibition called "Polling station". It is a Pepper's Ghost live-broadcast of an actress who acts like a vote counter in a polling station. She gets in contact with the visitors of the exhibition as a projected figure in a small box. Through a camera projection the vote counter sees and hears the visitors and vice versa. She interacts and communicates with the audience, discussing about counting votes or everything and anything. The polling station is open for the entire duration of the exhibition.
