In celebration of its 40th anniversary, the Kunstmuseum Basel ǀ Gegenwart presents a selection of large-format works from the collection of the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation in its exhibition series "Continuously Contemporary".

Tweaklab installed three video installations by the Belgian David Claerbout in the first chapter of the exhibition. The video work "Oil workers (from the Shell company of Nigeria) returning home from work, caught in torrential rain" is projected onto a free-floating screen. It depicts a group of workers seeking shelter from monsoon rain under a bridge. The artist found the image on the internet and used digital 3D techniques to set it in motion.
