Weather
National Museum Zurich

We humans are all highly interested in the weather. In the exhibition "Das Wetter. Sonne, Blitz und Wolkenbruch" the forecast and observation of the weather is in the focus.

Tweaklab was commissioned with the media advisory and planning, with formatting the files and the postproduction, as well as with the installation of the various media stations.
Specially the animation film "El Niño", an unique weather phenomenon, was produced and realized by Tweaklab in collaboration with MeteoSchweiz.
The 20-minute large scale projection "Wetterphänomene" was edited in our digital lab and the multichannel sound was composed accordingly.
"Wetterzentrale" shows us the latest technical acquisitions for the development of weather models and for the observation of the weather. MeteoSchweiz provided satellite images of three different events; thunderstorm, heavy rain and storm. On a multi screen installation images of weather models, the weather satellites, as well as video recordings of webcams on various locations can be viewed simultaneously. The videos were also cut, post produced and synchronised by Tweaklab.
