In the new permanent exhibition "seeing differently", visitors get to know the world of people with impaired vision, or blind people, in an impressive way.
In the gray foyer, visitors encounter six video portraits in which people with visual impairments talk about their everyday lives. In the “dark room", visitors accompany a student from the moment she wakes up, to the classroom in the school for the blind, by means of an audio drama that is experienced in the dark via a 4.1 sound system.
Tweaklab was commissioned with the media technology planning of the foyer and the "dark room", as well as with the programming of the video stations and the audio drama, and the incorporation of these elements into the media guide. Tweaklab also implemented the room-specific audio mastering of the audio drama. A smartphone serves as the museum's remote control for the audio drama. The programming of a remote maintenance app enables Tweaklab to change exhibition content and solve potential problems efficiently and cost-effectively.
