Call for entries «Shortrun Award» 2013

Tweaklab donates the Shortrun Award for a Swiss short film production in the field of feature, documentary, experimental or artistic film. The price consists of postproduction services worth 12.000 CHF. Each year a jury selects one project, which is announced at the International Short Film Festival Winterthur.

Shortrun Award Winner 2012 is Pao Paixao

PAO PAIXAO won the Shortrun Award 2012 for his film project «KALI YUGA - From Ganga to Bollywood». The jury decided unanimously in favour of this project. Pao Paixao takes the audience along on a journey to India. What he discovers on this journey draws the jury‘s interest and makes them want to see the finished film. On the one hand there is profound spirituality and lively tradition, on the other hand shrill modernism and unrestrained consumption. The contrast could not be greater. In his film Pao aims to depict the transformation of society. And he does so with convincing pictures. His philosophical concept is plausible and up-to-date. And at the same time it is also a big challenge. The jury believe in the director and want to support him on his exciting venture.

Thaïs Odermatt is the winner of the Shortrun Award 2011 with her documentary project «Kurt und der Sessellift», produced by maximage, Zurich.

Corina Schwingruber Ilic is winner of the Shortrun Award 2010 for the documentary «Baggern», produced by Minerva Film, Zürich.

Shortrun Award Winner 2009 is Sahar Suliman

Saar Suliman is winner of the Shortrun Award 2009 for the art project «Muselé».
